Dora Carson (nee Pemtgove) and her husband Joseph are both buried in Bloemhof. Dora passed away in 1925 and was born in Russia, and the family moved to England. Joseph passed away in 1936. He was a general dealer and was also born in Russia. It seems the couple lived in Wrexham before migrating to South Africa. From his death certificate, we glean that the couple had four daughters: Mary Dorfman (married to Louis), Lily Leibowitz (married Maurice/ Morris Leibowitz in 1920), Mimie Jacobson (married to Sam) and Rose Shapiro - married to Boris in 1921. There is also, however, a death certificate for a son, Abraham (1891-1954), and there seem to have been two other sons - Eli and Joseph.
