Sarah Cohen (nee Kaplan) was married to Moses Michael Cohen. According to her death certificate, she was from Pokroi in Lithuania and the daughter of Abe Kaplan. She was married in Pokroi. Her husband Moses Michael (son of Haim Shlomo) passed away in 1933 and was buried in Kimberley. The couple had four sons: Maxillian Isaac, Harris Bernard, Solomon Joseph and Jacob (Jack) Cohen. Max, Harris and Jack all spent time in Vryburg. Jack Cohen owned the Grand Hotel in Vryburg with his brother-in-law Jack Perel and then worked as a bookkeeper. He later moved to Wepenaar, where the eldest brother Maximilian Isaac, and his wife Ida (nee Goldinger) lived. Solomon Joseph (Shlomo Yosef) passed away in 1958 and Harris Bernard (Hirsch Baruch) in 1959. Both were buried in Kimberley. Harris Bernard owned the Savoy Hotel in Kimberley.
